Thank you for shopping with us. Our goal is to provide you with a clean, neat, orderly store with a friendly environment so that you have a pleasant shopping experience.

Our used paperbacks are priced at 50% of the original cover price. All other used books are priced as marked. We have a $1.95 MINIMUM on all books unless specially marked lower by us. Some collector books are priced higher than the $1.95 minimum price.

Our new books are priced at 15% off the original cover price. All special orders are 15% off unless otherwise noted at time of order.

In appreciation of you being a loyal customer, even if we are overstocked, we will give trade credit for used paperback fiction books bought from us, "The Book Place", if returned in re-sellable condition within six months of purchase. For this guarantee, please make sure your purchase is rung up under your account. We will gladly look at books not purchased from us, or purchased longer than six months ago, but will be able to give you trade credit only if we need them. Trade credit can only be used on USED BOOKS. Trade credit can not be converted to cash, used to purchase new books, any other new products in our store and recently published audios for rent.

We no not purchase books for cash.

The Oklahoma Tax Commission requires us to collect the sales tax on your trade credit purchases, before the credit is applied. You pay the first $5.00, plus sales tax, on your purchase before your credit can be applied.

We normally give 25% of the original cover price as trade credit on standard paperback books if returned within six months of purchase. Credit for hardbacks and other books will be based on our resale price. Normally you recieve 10% of the original cover price. We maintain the right to refuse any books for trade credit. Please limit your books to 2 small boxes or sacks per visit. No black trash bags or he man size boxes. If your books are other than paperback fiction, you will have to leave them for us to look at later.

We do not accept anything in poor or dirty condition, Reader's Digest Condensed books, light romance published more than 6 months ago (some exceptions - Nora Roberts, Linda Howard, Marilyn Pappano, etc.), most hard back fiction if currently available in paperback, audio cassette tapes, titles we have excessive stock of, or anything we think won't resell.

All sales are final. No refunds unless pre-arrangements are made.

AUDIO RENTAL POLICY

We only rent to local customers.

Pricing Information:
Audio CD rentals are $5.00 per title per week. This included sales tax.

Late fees are $.50 per day per title.

If a CD is lost, damaged, or stolen while in your possession you will be charged for the retail amount of the title(s).

There is no limit to the number of titles you can rent.

We reserve the right to refuse to rent to anyone.
