BOOK POLICY

Thank you for shopping with us. Our goal is to provide you with a clean, neat, orderly store with a friendly environment so that you have a pleasant shopping experience.

Our used paperbacks are priced at 1/2 of the original cover price. All other used books are priced as marked. We have a $1.25 MINIMUM on all books, except gothic and regency romance unless specially marked lower by us. Some collector books are priced higher than the $1.25 minimum price.

Our new books are priced at 15% off the original cover price. All special orders are 15% off unless otherwise noted at time of order.

Paperback books, bought from us, new or used, will receive 1/4 of the original cover price as trade credit. Other used books, minimum priced books or specially priced used books will received 1/2 of what you paid to us as trade credit.

In appreciation of you being a loyal customer, we always give trade credit for used books bought from us if returned in re-sellable condition. We will gladly look at books not purchased from us, but will be able to give trade credit only if we need them. We wish we could take all your books but it would soon put us out of business. Trade credit can be used on used books and audio rentals. Trade credit can not be converted to cash, used on new books or any other new products in our store.

We pay 10% of original cover price for paper back books we purchase for cash. We normally pay less than 10% of original cover price for hardbacks and trade paper books. We maintain the right to refuse any books for trade credit or cash.

We do not accept anything in poor or dirty condition, Reader's Digest Condensed books, Book Club edition books, light romance published more than two years ago (some exceptions - Nora Roberts, Linda Howard, Marilyn Pappano, etc.), most hard back fiction if currently available in paperback, titles we have excessive stock of, or anything we think won't resell.

All sales are final. No refunds unless pre-arrangements are made.

AUDIO RENTAL POLICY

We only rent to local customers.

Pricing Information:
Audio cassette rentals with 3 or more cassettes or CDs are $4.00 per title per week.

Audio cassette rentals with 2 cassettes are $2.00 per title per week.

Audio cassette rentals with 1 cassettes are $1.00 per title per week.

Late fees are $.50 per day per title.

IMPORTANT:
If the tape breaks at no fault of your own don’t worry, we can have it repaired at no cost to you. Just bring it back and let us know. It is a good idea to clean your player, with a standard cleaner, at least once a week. You will get better sound and have less chance of a tape breaking.

If a cassette is lost, damaged, or stolen while in your possession you will be charged for the retail amount of the title(s).

There is no limit to the number of titles you can rent.

Please help us by returning your rentals with the rubber band around the box and please fast forward to the end of each tape to protect the tape.

We reserve the right to refuse to rent to anyone.
